SportsEngine Registration: Ames Minor Hockey Association

Fall 2018-2019

2018-2019 AMHA Fall Season Registration

Registration for the 2018-19 Fall/Winter season is now open

Please see the 18-19 season rates below.  In general, rates were raised 2.0% this year.  The biggest factor in our need to raise rates is the City of Ames raised their charge for ice time by 3%.  Ice time is our largest expense by far and has a direct influence on what we charge skaters.   Also, we are rolling the cost for the 2019 summer session, $70, into the fees for the Mite thru Bantam level.  Next spring you will not need to register or pay for your child to attend the summer session.  The High School fee includes a $200 charge for their summer training program and $720 for their estimated travel expenses, e.g., hotels, food, banquet, etc.  As a board, we work very hard to keep fees as low as possible.   Skater fees and fundraising are our only source of income, and we hope to increase our fundraising efforts to avoid future fee increases.   We welcome your ideas for fundraisers.

*all pre-registered skaters, Squirts and PeeWees, will receive a $100 discount plus credit for your $100 deposit on their 2018-19 season fees.   You will receive a coupon for $200 in a separate email, that will reduce your skater’s fee by $200.  Bantams and High School skaters will receive a coupon for $300 as their deposit was $200.

In addition to the coupon for early registration, if you have multiple skaters in AMHA above the Mite Level, you will receive a $100.00 coupon for your second skater.

We will utilize the same payment system as used last year.   Payments will only be accepted by credit or debit card this year.  As you register your skater, you will be asked for a card number and authorization to charge this card for your annual fees.  The first payment will be due at the time of registration.  Each level will have a different number of payments due and this is listed below with the charges.   The second payment will be due on Oct 1st, third payment on Nov 1st and so on.  There is an option to pay your outstanding fees early if you are interested, please contact the assistant treasurer at or call Jerry Seydell @ 515.460.1536.
